Offshore manufacturers provide batteries in two main ways.  Full container loads, usually a 20 ft container that handles 17,000 kg of cargo or LCL (less than container load).  Either method has its advantages and disadvantage based on the particular situation.  Loading of containers or building of shipments on pallets will also have an influence on transit and at the destination.  Hazardous materials documentation, packaging & fees are all considerations when shipping several kinds of batteries.
